Masande Ntshanga

Heralded in the author's native South Africa as "the hottest novel of the year," The Reactive is a clear-eyed and compassionate depiction of a young HIV+ man grappling with the sudden death of his younger brother, for which he feels unduly responsible.

This is an experimental chapbook, a hybrid collection of interlinking poetry and prose. It features a poet, philosopher, and a programmer living and working under systemic oppression in South Africa.

Triangulum is an ambitious combination of historical and speculative fiction spanning roughly 50 years, from the 1990s to the early 2040s. At the centre of this tale is a mathematical prodigy, Naomi Buthelezi, who relives the difficult journey of her coming of age, professional development and reluctant political life.
